Questions we expect

Stand in the doorway, hold the phone at chest height and keep the lens straight; the in-app camera shows a level so you can tell. Pick a room type and a style, add a note if you like (“keep the flooring, add a grey sofa”), and generate. About 20 seconds later the room is furnished.

Behind the scenes, the app sends your photo through our servers to Google Gemini image models, which return a new image. This happens only after you tap Agree and continue on the consent sheet the first time. Location data is removed from the photo on your phone before upload.

Three modes: Stage furnishes an empty room; Restyle gives a furnished room new furniture and finishes; Declutter removes everything movable. Refine applies a plain-words change (“swap the sofa for a grey one, keep the rug”) to a result you already have, and each refinement is saved as a version you can go back to.

Before you see a result, our server compares it with your original photo: walls, windows, doors, ceiling, floor plane and camera perspective. If they match, the result carries the “Structure verified” badge. If they don’t, the result is not shown, you are not charged, and the app tries once more automatically.

The badge is an automated check, not a promise that every detail is right. Furniture shown is generic and is not a product for sale. Look at every result before you rely on it, and keep the original next to it; the app does that for you on export.

• One result costs one credit, in any mode, including Refine. Where an HD option is offered it costs 3 credits, and the app says so before you confirm.
• Results that fail the structure check, are refused by safety filters, or fail for a technical reason are not charged.
• New accounts get 1 free credit. Sign in with Apple adds 2 more, once per Apple ID. Free results are 1K and carry a small “Made with Unempty AI” mark in the corner; paid results are 2K with no mark.
• Subscription credits reset each billing period and do not carry over. A listing — the rooms of one home in one style — is a feature of every plan and draws on the same credits.
• Plans and prices are listed on the home page and in the app; the app shows your local price before you buy.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancellation happens in your Apple account. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access and any remaining credits until the end of the period you paid for.

From the app

1. Open Unempty and tap Settings.
2. Tap Manage / cancel subscription. Apple’s subscription sheet opens.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

From your iPhone’s Settings

1. Open the Settings app and tap your name at the top.
2. Tap Subscriptions.
3. Tap Unempty AI.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

You can also open the App Store app, tap your picture, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app or deleting your Unempty account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it first.

Refunds. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase, the credits it granted are removed from your balance.

1. If you have a subscription, cancel it first (see above). Deleting the account does not cancel it.
2. Open Unempty and tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and data.
4. Confirm with Delete.

Your rooms, results, remaining credits and every stored file are removed from our systems within 24 hours. This works for anonymous accounts too and cannot be undone. Photos you already saved to your Photos library stay on your phone. Deleting the app alone does not delete server data.

“Virtually staged” label. When you export for a listing, the staged photo carries a visible “Virtually staged” label in the bottom-left corner, on by default. Most MLS and disclosure rules ask for it. The untouched original is always saved next to the result, and a disclosure sentence (“This photo has been virtually staged. Furniture and decor are digitally added and are not included with the property.”) is copied to your clipboard for the listing text. Switch the label off only where no rule requires it.

“Made with Unempty AI” mark. Free results carry a small mark in the bottom-right corner. Results on any paid plan do not.

Provenance. Images generated by Google’s models carry an invisible SynthID watermark. We never remove it, and you agree not to either.

Disclosure rules differ by country, state and listing service. You are responsible for following the ones that apply to you and your listing; the Terms of Use explain this in more detail.

That code is meant to open the untouched original of a staged photograph. The lookup is not live yet, so no code resolves to a photo today. The proof-link page explains what it will show, why California and several MLS rules ask for it, and what to do in the meantime: ask the agent for the original photograph.

Tap Report on the result and choose a reason. Reported results are reviewed and kept out of our quality tests. You were not charged for any result that failed the structure check; for other problems, write to us with the report and we will look at the credit.

In the Privacy Policy. In short: your photo is sent to Google only after you allow it; Google’s paid API does not use it to train models; uploads not kept in a project are deleted after 30 days; nothing is sold or used for advertising. Also available in Türkçe and العربية.
